Plastering:
Our BPS Plasterers complete work to a very high standard, they can plaster new work or repair ceilings and walls with instant great results. For all types of Plastering in Bournemouth and Poole call us for a free quotation.


Dry Wall:
Dry wall boarding is used mainly on new building and some extensions. It saves labour costs as plasterboard sheets are adhered directly onto the block walls with dabs of adhesive. This is time saving as the traditional render/bonding coats are omitted. With experience a good finish can be achieved although fixing shelves, kitchens and shower screens can be a little tricky later.

Plaster boarding:
Plasterboard sheets can be screwed directly onto timber battens, joists and rafters to provide a sound surface ready for the topcoat of plaster. BPS have perfected the technique of plaster board ceilings and have purchased board lifting equipment to improve productivity.

Render:
A render coating is a cement mortar usually applied to the external face of a building. A base coat or scratch coat is applied first and allowed to set. The top render coat can be floated off and finished with a damp sponge. Cement render is porous and may need decorating. For render repairs please call for a free quotation.

Wall and ceiling repairs:
BPS plasterers can repair damaged ceilings and wall damage. We have repaired many walls and ceilings over the years caused by water and impact damage.


Cornice, Coving and Ceiling roses:
BPS are able to repair existing coving found on older properties or indeed construct identical new sections of coving or cornice and fit where necessary. We also fit off the shelf coving and cornice.

Screeding:
Floor screed is used as a floor leveling system and is commonly used to contain pipes, services and under floor heating.

Artex:
Artex is a common ceiling finish in many older properties. It is often used to hide or tidy up cracked or damaged surfaces. Our plasterers are able to provide an Artexing service. We are often asked to remove Artex coating on walls or Artex coating on ceilings to provide a smooth finish.

Tyrolean:
Our plastering team can apply Tyrolean finish to exterior walls. We are able to repair or patch in existing Tyrolean. All Tyrolean repairs would need decoration to match existing.

Pebbledash:
Pebbledash is a render surface with small pebbles or stones. We offer a repair service for this coating.
